[It's day three of being near Caer Glaem, and though he's finally accepted that his shard is actually hidden, he still can't lessen that edge of tension, of constantly being ready to fight and flee. Poor sleep isn't anything new, but it's still annoying.]
[It doesn't help that there are fucking swans everywhere. They're gold which doesn't throw him off too much, considering the mutated animals he's already seen and killed combined with the fact that he's in a literal fairy world.]
[They're nasty and hostile, and Bellamy's already killed a few. Like the one he's aiming for right now, watching as it squawks angrily over an inability to dig up some crop from the ground.]
[He slinks closer silently and takes aim with his axe, throwing it hard. It slices through the air before embedding itself into the swan's back. The sounds die as it does, golden body falling to the ground, and already familiar with the process, he watches as it starts turning into solid gold.]

On top of finding something to report back to the monarchs (unfortunately), he's got his eyes and ears out for anything related to the Cult of the Fox. And his people, of course; they're always top priority.]

[Dorian pauses as he is addressed. The Cothromach even now is not most welcoming of travellers. The Sunsoak Markets are the place that will hold them, in days to come. So a strange face is surprising, especially one that does not know the business here.]

[ben's hunting skills are dismal, at best. he has a good pile going on, at least four or five, and while it may look like he's doing okay, he's only doing okay because of the way he's been trying to kill them. he's not going to have any of them eat up the crop (everyone is having a tough enough time as it is) and while he can't stop all of them, he can do his best.
