[His hand moves to the back of her head, like an extra reassurance that she won't. She won't lose him, not now. But it's for him too. Because here is Clarke and she is someone who knows what he's done and capable of, and she still thinks him important enough to save first. Bellamy has never been that person. It makes him all the more protective of her, this person in his life, his family, that would give so much for his sake. It's overwhelming. He doesn't always know if he deserves it.]

[There are just - so many things he wants to say. Bellamy rarely thinks before he speaks, and it's only when there's too much that he sort of flounders. It doesn't help that the whole thing has left him wiped out, and he hadn't done any of the healing. All of his energy is focused on keeping Clarke upright.]

[He's still angry, but it deflates into something more contained the longer she sits there against him. Clarke is steady, and she's still alive, and really, that's the important part for now. He can yell at her more later.]


You're not allowed to die on me either.
