[He flips the egg he's frying, glancing over his shoulder at her. He'd been wanting to get over to look into the Glaschu riots anyway, but he's a little surprised she's sending Hiro.]
Like I'm going to say no and let him go by himself. [Egg finished and sandwiched.] We wanted to go soon anyway. Does he know I'm joining him yet?
Yeah, I let him know last night I'd be asking you to go.
( toast in mouth! she finishes chewing and swallowing before trying to speak again. )
I need to go to school. You'll call him? I think he needs to take his mind off things. ( implying that maybe Bellamy should try talking to him about it, without saying as much. )
[Another time (too long ago to even count, at this point), he might have been annoyed at her presumption to send him off without checking first, but he'd probably have offered to go even if she didn't ask, and he doesn't honestly care.]
[So he just offers a nod, biting into his own breakfast. He does not swallow it all before speaking up, but at least it's mostly gone.] Yeah, I'll go see him, if I need to. This trip can't be taken lightly, so we'll need a little time to plan it.
